Behaviour Support Practitioner – Opportunity awaits. 

 

360 Health Management is seeking applications for a suitably qualified and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner in Shepparton with the opportunity for an immediate start.

The role is based in our Shepparton office and would would consider part time for the right person with flexible arrangements to be negotiated.

Goals of the position:

  • Manage your own caseload of participants, primarily developing person-centred strategies for individuals with complex or comorbid disabilities.
  • Monitor and approve Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
  • Create, supervise, and ensure behaviour support plans meet clinical and NDIS requirements.
  • Prepare monthly reports to the NDIS where required.
  • Develop, monitor, and action individualised risk plans to mitigate incidents and hazards.

About you:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, Education or other relevant allied health qualification
  • Must have an empathetic disposition, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in providing clinical and/or behavioural assessment, intervention, and support.
  • Knowledge of the NDIS, and relevant disability legislation desirable.
  • Must have a valid driver’s licence.
  • Must have an NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing to obtain one.
