Who are Sunshine and Buttercup Therapy Services?
Sunshine and Buttercup Therapy Services is an NDIS registered organisation working to make a real difference in their community and provide high-quality behaviour support services. We work specifically with individuals 25 years and under to support them and their support network in meeting their goals. We achieve this by providing a person-centred and evidence-based approach to help address challenging behaviours impairing their ability to reach their full potential.
We seek a motivated individual excited about working with us to help service Newcastle, and parts of Singleton, Lake Macquarie, and the Central Coast areas.
How did we get the name?
Sunshine and Buttercup Therapy Services got their name from two colleagues using nicknames to greet each other. One would say “Good morning, Sunshine”, while the other responded with “What is up, Buttercup?” This continued to very distinct nicknames and our business name was created from this.
We believe the name ‘Sunshine and Buttercup Therapy Services’ will bring joy and light to others, just like the nickname did for us. It makes therapy fun and exciting, rather than daunting and scary.
