JOB DESCRIPTION

Tedoo Behaviour Support and Therapeutic Services is a growing private practice operating across QLD throughout including but not limited to the Fraser Coast, Wide Bay Burnett, South Burnett, Central Queensland, Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. Our practice provides high quality behaviour supports to NDIS clients. We are committed to supporting people of all ages living with a disability. 

We are currently looking to expand our team and hope to find an enthusiastic Behaviour Support Practitioner passionate about working with adults and children who are participants of the NDIS. 

This position will be based in Maryborough/Hervey Bay.

This position would be suitable for a candidate with experience in the disability sector and a willingness to learn (team leaders, case managers, disability support workers etc.), a Psychologist (with opportunity to engage in therapeutic supports and assessment administration), Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications & experience

  • AHPRA registration (for Psychologists/Allied Health Professionals)
  • Experience working within the NDIS 
  • Experience working in the disability sector 
  • An interest working with NDIS clients
  • A current drivers license
  • Working with children check (eligibility for) 
  • Worker Screening (eligibility for) 
  • Demonstrated high standard of ethical practice
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent time management skills
