Behaviour Support Practitioner

What we need from you:
- A respectful and person centred attitude towards supporting people with disabilities
- Knowledge and experience working with a range of intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Relevant tertiary qualifications: Eg Undergraduate studies in Education, Psychology, Speech Pathology, Social Work. Postgraduate studies in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Positive Behaviour Support, Disability Studies, Behavioural Studies
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in working with complex cases
- A passion for Positive Behaviour Support
- Knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards commissions requirements around restrictive practices
- Ability to form relationships and work collaboratively with individuals, families, carers, staff, allied health professionals and additional stakeholders
Your time:
- 15-25 billable hours a week
- 1 hour of clinical supervision per week
- Active engagement in staff meetings
Basic requirements:
- Drivers licence, Car, Laptop, Phone, Home office materials
- ABN + Professional indemnity and liability insurance
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Modules
- Proda Registration as an eligible worker
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children’s Check
Your remuneration:
- Specialist Behaviour Support at $100/hr + GST + super
- Assessment Recommendation Therapy And/or Training at $100/hr + GST + super
