We are seeking a passionate Behaviour Support Practitioner that is looking to step into a Principal Clinician role within our vibrant team. Help provide quality assurance and clinically supervision to our junior and experienced team.

About your new role 

  • Supporting and developing clinicians to ensure they are providing evidence-based therapy that is in-line with NDIS Guidelines and Better Rehab policy  
  • Identifying areas of development for the clinical team as needed and liaising internally to ensure development needs are met  
  • Assisting with onboarding related tasks such as inductions, shadowing, and report reviews 
  • Assessing physical resources with offices in your state, and liaising the internal team/National Clinical Lead to close resource gaps  
  • Having your own small caseload where you will conduct assessments and interventions for Better Rehab participants as required  
  • Overseeing clinical reports and quality assurance 
  • Providing input into Behaviour Support policies and procedures 
  • Travel across NSW / ACT to our clinics 
  • Facilitating in-house training sessions to upskill Behaviour Support clinicians  
  • Assisting with performance appraisals by providing input on clinical competencies for individual clinicians as required  

About you  

  • You are passionate about making a difference! 
  • You have tertiary qualifications in Pyschology 
  • 5+ years experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner and in the Psychology space
  • Experience providing clinical or operational leadership with PBS or MDT teams is advantageous 
  • You embody Better Rehab’s values 
  • You have your own car and a valid driver’s license 
  • You can provide evidence of relevant registrations and proof of COVID vaccinations
