About the Role:
-Conduct behavioural assessments & observations
-Collect & analyse behavioural data
-Liaise with teams of allied health professionals
-Write Functional Behaviour Assessments
-Write Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
-Develop and make resources

About you:
We are looking for staff who are passionate to provide proactive Positive Behaviour Support to people supporting those with a disability and to those living with a disability.
Required
- Bachelor/Undergraduate degree in either Education, Allied Health, Social Work or Applied Behaviour Analysis
Personal and Interpersonal Skills required:
-be able to work independently and in a team
-good organisation skills
-good time management
-proactive
-build relationships quickly and effectively
-ability to show empathy and be empathic to those in need
Desirable:
- Experience creating Behaviour Support Plans
- Experience working with people who engage in behaviours of concern and living with a disability
- Knowledge of NDIS Specialised Behaviour Support, writing Functional Assessments and developing comprehensive behaviour support plans
- Master of Education (Applied Behaviour Analysis)
Training Provided:
If not yet undertaken, Ready Steady Achieve will support staff to develop the required training to feel knowledgeable, supported and upskilled in the areas needed including:
- Induction
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module and Infection Control
- NDIS Self Assessment & Registration
- Monash Positive Behaviour Support Short Course
- Gradual Release of Responsibility -Shadowing and working together for the first few participants
- Weekly internal supervision
- Fortnightly external supervision
- BCBA supervision provided if required
Contractor Requirements by commencement date:
- Drivers license & Car
- Laptop
- Home office materials
- ABN
- NDIS worker screening + Professional indemnity and liability insurance
- Working with Children’s Check
- Be willing to work a minimum of 15 hours per week (less initially while transitioning and building a caseload)
Pay rates:
- Between $90-$120 per hour depending on experience inclusive of GST & Super
- Rate increases available and leadership roles available with experience
