About the role, you will:
- Have the opportunity to work with people from diverse backgrounds
- Functionally assess people with complex behaviours
- Create positive Behaviour Support Plans using evidence based best practice to improve the quality of life for our participants who have disabilities
- Develop the skills and provide support to Support Workers
- Understand the NDIS Commissions reporting guidelines and requirements
- Provide clinical services to address specific challenging behaviours
- Participate in trans-disciplinary practice within the team and consultation with other regulatory bodies
- Liaise with other relevant professionals or agencies as required
About You:
- Degree qualified in a relevant field (Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Social Work)
- Operational experience is desirable
- Knowledge of the NDIS framework
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work independently, organise and prioritise competing demands
- An understanding of Microsoft office
