About Us:
Mosaic Early Intervention is a mobile, early intensive behavioural intervention service. We provide high – quality, in home, early intervention programs, based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). We are based in the Sutherland Shire (South Sydney), and we are looking to grow our team, with fun and enthusiastic Senior Behaviour Technicians and Behaviour Technicians!
Position:
We are looking for therapists who are able to conduct sessions in the Sutherland Shire, St George region and/or Illawarra region. We currently have a range of Casual and Part-Time positions available, depending on level of experience and your availability. Further, the position requires you to work 1:1 with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities, generally between the ages of 18 months to 12 years of age, and in a range of settings (community, home, pre-school, school).
Requirements:
The successful applicant must be interested in a career in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), and must have a genuine and keen aspiration to work with children with additional needs. Prior experience is preferred, but is not essential. University students currently studying in a related field (Education, Psychology, Speech and Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy) welcomed. Initial and ongoing training is provided, as well as opportunities for ongoing professional development.
Requirements for this role include the following:
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current NSW Police Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Mandatory Child Protection Training
- Has obtained or is working towards a related qualification (ABA, Education, Psychology, Occupational Therapy)
- Applicants for the casual position must have a minimum of 10 hours availability per week.
- Applicants for the part-time position must have at least 3 months experience as a behaviour technician and greater than 20 hours per week availability.
