Behaviour Therapist – Casual Positions Available Early Autism Services

We offer Behaviour support programs for our clients as well as Allied Health services (Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy).

We are searching for an entry level or experienced Behaviour Therapists who live in or near Coorparoo, or in the Northern Suburbs of Brisbane (eg/ Aspley, Fitzgibbon), that will excel in a collaborative environment and who knows the true meaning of teamwork. 

A Behaviour Therapist’s duties and responsibilities include:

  • Working one-on-one with children in a number of skill areas under the direction and supervision of a Behavioural Consultant
  • Implementing strategies and procedures as they are defined by a Behavioural Consultant’s programming
  • Collecting, recording and discussing data with supervisors
  • Attending team meetings and coordinating with a team of therapists
  • Involving children’s family, school, and other community members in therapy sessions
  • May be required to travel to the home or community setting of each client within their assigned caseload or see the client in-clinic.

Job requirements include:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check (Employee)
  • Current first-aid and CPR certificates
  • An active driver’s license, car, and a willingness to travel between clients’ locations if required
  • Experience working with young children or children with disabilities is beneficial to your application but not essential.
  • A Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) credential is beneficial but not essential.
  • Prior training in Applied Behaviour Analysis is beneficial but not essential.
