About Us:
Mosaic Early Intervention is a mobile, early intensive behavioural intervention service. We provide high – quality, in home, early intervention programs, based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Our clinic is based in the Sutherland Shire (South Sydney), however we currently provide services to families in the Sutherland Shire, St George and Illawarra areas. We are looking to grow our team, with fun and enthusiastic Behaviour Technicians!
Position:
We are looking for therapists who are able to conduct sessions in the Sutherland Shire and St George areas. We currently have a range of Casual positions available. Further, the position requires you to work 1:1 with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities, generally between the ages of 18 months to 12 years of age, and in a range of settings (community, home, pre-school, school).
Requirements:
The successful applicant should be interested in a career in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), and must have a genuine and keen aspiration to work with children with additional needs. Prior experience is preferred, but is not essential as initial and ongoing training is provided for this entry level role. University students currently studying in a related field (Education, Psychology, Speech and Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy) welcomed. Initial and ongoing training is provided, as well as opportunities for ongoing professional development.
Requirements for this role include the following:
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current NSW Police Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Mandatory Child Protection Training
- Has obtained or is working towards a related qualification (ABA, Education, Psychology, Occupational Therapy)
- Minimum of 10 hours availability per week.
- Hold and retain a current NSW Driver’s License and a registered, roadworthy vehicle to allow you to
drive to each location to fulfil Behaviour Technician duties (clients home, school, day-care etc.);
