Zeep Health are working with a number of national therapy services providers across Australia. You would be working with organisations that are here to help NDIS participants – children, adolescents and adults (0-65 years) 

Job Description

This is a great opportunity to use your Positive Behaviour Support skills to evaluate, develop and deliver evidence-based support plans within a complex support space.  This role will ensure individual plans reflect NDIS participants’ passions and interests and promotes their quality of life. Whilst doing so you will also build the knowledge, capacity and strengths of all those who are important to the participant. You will…

  • Assist individuals and their families to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies to support people in their home and community
  • Develop Behaviour Support Plans (Interim & Comprehensive) utilising a positive behaviour support framework with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices
  • Work collaboratively within a small, cohesive team environment as well as larger organisation

About You

You are experienced and passionate about delivering PBS, being an advocate and role model for best practice. You will have…

  • Completed a degree level qualification as an allied health professional (OT/Speech/Social Work/Psychology)
  • MUST have at least 1- 3 years worth of experience working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Proficient, Advanced or Specialist status as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Registered practitioner with NDIS
  • Demonstrated experience working with people with complex needs and challenging behaviours 
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring team members around developing & delivering positive behaviour support services
