  • Salary Range of $94,014 – $98,025, plus 11% superannuation + salary packaging

Our opportunity

The role of a Better Futures Practitioner forms part of our Youth Services team and plays an active role in providing support to clients who are transitioning from care in a range of areas, including but not limited to; housing, education, health, employment and community connections.  Our Better Futures Practitioners attend care team meetings, maintain accurate records and work with a high level of autonomy to achieve positive outcomes.

About you

We are looking for a motivated, values driven person who wants a role where no two days are the same. You will hold previous experience in youth case management or other youth specific support role. . You will have experience engaging with a range of clients with varying needs as well as liaising with multiple stakeholders to meet a variety of outcomes.

Our preferred candidate will thrive in working autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic and experienced team environment.

  • Model, support and encourage positive, safe and connected relationships with staff, young people and the community.
  • Demonstrated experience working with youth
  • Case Management Experience
  • Strong  and  authentic  interpersonal skills with experience working with a range of clients

QUALIFICATIONS

Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Welfare Studies, Family Therapy or equivalent, or other tertiary qualification appropriate to public welfare practise
