We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Health Clinician to join our CAMHS/Children’s Team located in the Gosford Gateway Centre. This is an opportunity to apply your communication, management and planning skills to a role that has impact and meaning for the local community.

What you’ll be doing
In this position you will bring your clinical and personal expertise to bear on an exciting and meaningful role working with the Children and Families of our local community. A successful candidate will bring excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence and a compassionate sense of care along with your well-established clinical skills.
- The service provides assertive outreach and intensive case management, specifically aimed at engaging young people aged 12years and under experiencing moderate to severe mental health problems/disorders.
- To provide professional clinical services to young people and their families.
- To provide evidence based individual therapy with a recovery focus.
- To ensure families and carers have input into assessments, care plans and reviews where appropriate.
- To liaise with relevant agencies and actively participate in case conferences and team meetings concerning the care of young people and support families.
- To consult with team members and staff from other agencies regarding the care and management of clients.

- Occupational Therapist Level 3
- Clinical Psychologist
- Senior Psychologist
- Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2
- Social Worker Level 3
- Welfare Officer Level 3
- Counsellor Level 3
- Clinical Midwife Specialist Grade 2
Where you’ll be working
This role will primarily be based out of the Gosford Gateway Centre and will have the successful candidate working across the Central Coast. The Children’s Team is one of the furthest reaching and most community engaged teams in the Central Coast Local Health district and provides industry leading care to young people experiencing moderate to severe mental health problems/disorders.
Spread across community centres and centralised around the Gosford Gateway centre, this is a rare opportunity to lead a team and be out and active in the community, not shuttered away in a ward.
