The Opportunity
Yerin Eleanor Duncan is looking for a suitably qualified fulltime Care Coordinator to join our Yadha Muru Program as part of our Yadhaba (Wellbeing) Team. The Care Coordinator helps to improve reduce deaths by suicide, suicide attempts and self harm through providing immediate, person centred and compassionate care to people at risk of suicide.

Selection Criteria:
- Please give testimony to your Aboriginal identity and explain your connection to Darkinjung or the community you are from including your thoughts on how this relates to this role.
- Explain your knowledge and experience working with Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people and your understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander specific risk factors relating to suicide prevention.
- Tell us about a time you have proven your ability to build good working relationships with mainstream services facilitating culturally sensitive treatments.
- Provide an overview of your ability to deal with conflicting and varied demands whiles maintaining high levels of confidentiality with minimal work supervision.
- Outline your verbal and written communication skills. Furthermore, outline your level of computer literacy including word processing, database, spreadsheets, electronic mail, internet and data collection skills including maintaining client records.
- Describe your understanding of trauma informed care.
- Outline your verbal and written communication skills, organisational skills, and computer literacy.
