THE ROLE –
- Be a primary point of contact to receive and match placement referrals for secure Foster Care placements for young people requiring a Foster Care Placement in Gippsland.
- Support a team of Case Managers with practice related case direction and advice.
- Work closely with the Team Leader of the Foster Care Services Program and support as required.
- Coordinate respite for current clients and caregiver payments.
- Maintain caregiver lists and all associated standards and monitoring as identified and required.
- Monitor and ensure all new placements and new caregivers are generated and set up on appropriate databases.
- Monitor and oversee carer compliance such as Police Checks and WWCC’s.
- Coordination of Afterhours On-Call Roster and Intake.
- Participate in the On-Call Afterhours service on a rostered basis

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE – what you will bring;
- Case Management specific to Care Services and leadership experience is desired.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of case management requirements in the Foster Care System.
- Skills and knowledge of compliance requirements, intake, assessment, and case management processes within the Care Services system.
- A sound understanding of developmental trauma with demonstrated skills in practicing through a trauma informed lens.
- Demonstrated understanding of the needs of respite carers and the ability to offer comprehensive support.
- Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence |Working With Children Check |Police Check
- Minimum requirement of Diploma of Community Services or other relevant or appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or experience relevant to this position.
