Tell me about the role
Career Mentoring links young people who are looking for work with professional industry mentors to support them in their journey of finding and maintaining employment.
You will strategically develop this valued service, manage a small team and build the headspace culture and engagement through effective leadership at both the team and individual level.
What we’re looking for
You are an extremely experienced and skilled professional who can manage highly complex stakeholder relationships. You will be an innovative and dynamic leader who is confident in managing both service delivery alongside service growth and business planning requirements to support service sustainability and longevity.
You have:
- Qualifications in a related health, education, community or business discipline
- Demonstrated experience in high-level strategy development and program management in a complex for purpose/not-for-profit environment
- Proven complex stakeholder relationship management with the ability to build relationships and strategic partnerships
- Experience in managing a small team
- Well-established ability to identify and deliver on outcomes within agreed timeframes and budgets, and in line with program KPIs
- Experience in program management roles with a service growth or business development lens
- Experience in working and delivering a program in line with organisational governance to deliver safe and effective services to vulnerable populations
- Demonstrated experience in the production of project implementation resources, with an ability to quickly learn about and understand new subject areas in order to produce resources
- Experience developing and delivering training packages and resources
- Demonstrated organisational and project management skills including research, evaluation and reporting
- Financial management and business planning experience
