This opportunity is to join the Goldfields Community Mental Health Team on a permanent basis, working fulltime Monday to Friday. Fixed-term contracts of 3-6 months may be considered for the right candidate.
On behalf of our client in Western Australia, we are seeking a Mental Health Clinician – Case Manager to join the Adult Community Mental Health Team across the Goldfields Region. Undertaking comprehensive assessments and providing clinical case management services.
Key Responsibilities
– Undertaking comprehensive assessments and developing treatment & management plans
– Conducting evidence-based intervention and treatment
– Providing clinical case management services
– Promoting optimum functioning and well-being of the client in the community setting
– Collaborating with senior clinicians and providing educational activities and programs for clients
– Providing outreach services which involves travel to designated areas
– Engaging in health promotion and early intervention programs
– Maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct
– Clinical supervision as required
– Completing statistical clinical processes, including compliance with (PSOLIS) and (NOCC)
– Keeping accurate and comprehensive clinical records
– Participating in the development, planning and evaluation of mental health services
– Promoting the development of clinical skills in other professionals and colleagues
– Partaking in research projects as required
About You
– Tertiary qualifications in Psychology OR Social Work and eligible for full membership with the relevant body
– Demonstrated knowledge of emotional, behavioral, psychological, and psychiatric disorders of adults
– Experience in assessment and providing evidence-based interventions for adults
– Knowledge and understanding of the provision of mental health services within a rural community
– Experience in working within a community mental health service setting
– Ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team and as an independent practitioner
– Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
– Demonstrated ability in problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation
– Eligible for or in possession of a current C or C-A class driver’s license
Salary
– $80,963 to $109,579 plus super, based on experience
