Case Manager – Domestic Violence and Homelessness Welfare Recruitment Solutions

Location: Sydney (InnerWest)
Salary: $77 – 84k + Super + Salary Packaging
Type: Full time

Do you have case management experience and passion to help women and children through homelessness and domestic violence. Welfare Recruitment Solutions have been approached by an industry leading not-for-profit to find a Case Manager for their refuge and outreach service catering for women and children. This role is a full time permanent opportunity and available immediately, so get in touch today!
 
The Role:

You will be responsible for providing case management to clients who have generally experienced domestic violence, are homeless and/or at risk of systemic disadvantage. You will proactively and resourcefully support clients facing unique challenges by undertaking initial assessments, as well as coordinating longer term case plans. You will be motivated to create meaningful relationships and encourage positive changes in those you work alongside.
 
Candidate: 

  • Experience working with women and children escaping domestic and family violence.
  • Experience in case management and in a domestic violence support services,
  • Experience in needs assessment, safety planning, case coordination and advocacy for service users and in individualised outcomes- focused service delivery.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, community services or equivalent.
