Case Manager – Liverpool Be Recruitment Company

JOB DESCRIPTION

Based in Liverpool, you will be providing case management to women living in refuge or transitional housing who may have experienced domestic and family violence, mental health issues, and substance abuse.

You will be an integral member of a small team, working closely together enabling you to have collegiate assistance. when required.

Please note for this specific role being female is a genuine occupational requirement (Section 31 Anti-Discrimination Act 1977)

What you need to be successful:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications ie Diploma of Community Services; Bachelor of Community Welfare; Bachelor of Social Science
  • Minimum 2-3 years case management experience working in the homelessness, mental health, DV or AoD space
  • Demonstrated ability to work with women experiencing domestic and family violence; mental health issues; and substance abuse issues
  • Demonstrated understanding of trauma and its impact on mental health and wellbeing, and the connections to cycles of homelessness and poverty as they apply to women
  • Experience in the delivery of case management to women requiring crisis and supported accommodation and outreach services
  • Have a sound working knowledge of the Client Information Management System (CIMS) Database
  • Mandatory National Criminal History Check and current Working With Children Check required
  • NSW Driver’s License – access to pool cars available
