ABOUT THE ROLE 

This role focusses on providing holistic case management for young people and their families and delivers practical support, information and the coordination of other service providers as needed. You will facilitate self and peer support for parents and young people on a one on one or group setting.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You will have well developed case management and case planning skills and have previous experience with home and other supports, mediation, advocacy, referral, skills development and education. You will enjoy working with young people, are approachable and able to build rapport easily. Our clients will want to engage with you because they think you’re fun! You are a natural problem solver.

Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification in a social science or related field and/or specialised skills sufficient to perform at this level.
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Satisfactory Criminal record check. 
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Significant experience in an associated field.
  • Demonstrated experience in case planning and coordination.
  • Understanding of, and demonstrated ability to work with Human Service Agencies.
  • Demonstrated experience and or understanding of Trauma Informed Care.
