An expression of Interest (EOI) is being sought for part time Case Worker 4 days per week at our Fairfield women’s health Service located in Fairfield . EOI close 5th December 23
Salary package in accordance with Health Professionals Award dependent on qualifications and experience.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria:
- A minimum of 2 years’ Case Work experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications/ or relevant experience in the field
- Extensive experience in Community Development or other community work
- Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing and evaluating services
- Demonstrated experience in working in the NGO sector
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating workshops and community groups
- Comprehensive knowledge of women’s issues, particularly those which relate to domestic violence, and trauma
- Demonstrated experience in assessment and screening
- Proven organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Commitment and capacity to implement quality management principles
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team
- Demonstrated experience advocating for clients
- A clear understanding of Child Protection Legislation
- Demonstrated experience in working with CALD populations
- Commitment to feminist philosophy and principles
Desirable Criteria:
- Bi lingual, Arabic speaking, or Vietnamese speaking
- Knowledge of the Fairfield LGA and Services
A Working with Children Check and Criminal Record Check will be required for the successful applicant
