Case Worker – DFV Cornerstone Medical Recruitment

JOB DESCRIPTION

On behalf of our client which is a well established not for profit organisation in the Northern Territory we are seeking an experienced Case Worker to support clients who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing Domestic and Family Violence. This position has a particular focus on assisting women and children recover from the experience and trauma of family violence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Applying skills and experience in crisis intervention
  • Performing risk assessments and safety planning with clients
  • Applying evidence based, trauma informed practice principles to delivering wellbeing outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with the clients informal supports, community supports and statutory bodies to develop and support wellbeing
  • Implement strategies to address challenges to achieving social and emotional wellbeing

  
About You 

  • Qualifications in Social Worker or similar or relevant sector experience in a similar role
  • Experience in working with Domestic and Family Violence victims/survivors
  • Experience working with Indigenous people
  • Knowledge of Trauma Informed Practice and demonstrated competence in using a broad range of evidence-based casework and group work approaches to support client outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including case note writing

Remuneration Package
A Salary package of SCHADS Level 4 of $77,584 + 10.5% Super + Salary Sacrifice P.A + Relocation Assistance.
