Reporting to the Snr Program Manager, you will play an integral role in the support of women and children to find safe, affordable, and sustainable accommodation solutions and the provision of information, advice, referral, advocacy, crisis counselling, and ongoing case management.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Screening of the needs of women and families/children
- Case planning to determine the goals and objectives of the client
- Coordinating support and services for clients
- Monitoring and reviewing of case plans on a regular basis
- Managing transition and case closure
- Outreach casework
This position requires initiative and the ability to manage and complete a range of tasks with minimal supervision on a day-to-day basis. It is expected that you will have relevant qualifications and prior experience in a care setting. You will be able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of welfare and housing systems in addition to experience working in the fields of domestic violence and child protection.
