About the role
The Reconnect Case Worker functions collaboratively with the Student Support Services team to provide outreach and case management to assist community members who have been disengaged from work or study for a period of 6 months or more. The Reconnect Case Worker assesses the needs and goals of each participant and provides them with tailored support and highly individualised case management. Within the 18-month program, the Reconnect Case Worker coordinates the delivery of wrap-around support services, funding, and resources to support participants with their education and employment goals. A six month probationary period applies to the role.
Qualifications and experience
- A post-secondary school qualification in welfare, social work, community service, case management, counselling, or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in working within a case management model to support diverse groups.
Mandatory licences and checks
- Current Drivers Licence as travel between campuses is required
- A valid Working with Children Clearance (WWC) Assessment Notice and/or WWC Card
- Current satisfactory National Police Check (less than 12 months old)
- Valid Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate (2 doses)
