About the role
This is a full time (35 hours/ week), 12-month contract opportunity and will be based at Oatlands North Parramatta
- Lead practice across intensive therapeutic casework services for children and young people with complex needs based on the principles of trauma informed care and best practice for managing challenging Child Protection Cases.
- This role is responsible for fostering the implementation of best practice and provide direct practice based professional support and development to the Intensive Family Preservation Western Sydney team of caseworkers, and manager.

About you
- Must hold a minimum Bachelor level qualification in areas such as social sciences or welfare which is relevant to the role.
- Strong advocate for children, young people and families
- Skilled decision maker for children’s best interests underpinned by a demonstrated commitment to hearing the voices of children and young people
- Leader in intensive therapeutic casework for children with complex needs
- Implement best practice and provide support to casework team
- Collaborative team player who can Provide casework consults across the team
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Committed to compliance – legal, government and policy. Completing audits on casework files.
