About the role
Join our passionate team committed to providing effective, flexible, high quality crisis case management and intake triage services to the clients of the Integrated Domestic Family Violence Services.
This is a Max-term Full time position, based in Tuggerah, Central Coast, until June 2023.
Duties
- Provide direct support, intake/triage, safety audits and planning, advocacy an education where required to women with or without children planning to leave or escape a violent relationship;
- Provide advocacy and comprehensive case management to support clients;
- Provide evidence based individual and group interventions and educational programs;
- Foster and develop sound relationships with relevant external services and community groups including NSW Police, Local Courts, Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Services, NSW Health etc;
- Appropriate recording and file keeping in accordance with principles of confidentiality;
Requirements
- Comprehensive experience in working in the field of Domestic Violence;
- Minimum Diploma in Community Services or equivalent, relevant experience in Domestic and Family Violence field;
- Knowledge of current Child Protection;
- Current Drivers Licence and fully insured vehicle;
- Current Working with Children Check.
