CASUAL MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT WORKERS FOR NORTH BRISBANE Arafmi Ltd

JOB DESCRIPTION

Arafmi Ltd is seeking experienced Casual Support Workers for our North Brisbane Programs.

The ideal candidate will have an ethical values base aligned to building participant capacity, whilst supporting the participant as needed. You will have a well-developed understanding of restrictive practices, managing and reporting behaviours of concern, and implementing strategies from a positive behaviour support plan. Prior experience with personal care would be favourably considered.

You will need:

  • your own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • A smart phone (we use an app for rosters, reporting and communication)
  • Blue Card / NDIS Worker Screening Card

Duties will include assisting in the home and accessing the community in line with the person’s goals.
