What you’ll be doing
- The Family Recovery worker provides mental health prevention; parenting and Family Focussed Recovery interventions across the Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD).
- Provides clinical consultation and liaison to services regarding issues for children in families affected by mental illness.
- Builds the capacity of services to provide appropriate family focussed responses and interventions for families
- Provide evidence-based interventions and programs to parents with a mental illness, with a focus on early intervention and family and carer support.
- Works with key partners, including families, to support children of parents with a mental illness
Engage in service development and evaluation, staff education and student support and participate in the physical and mental health monitoring of children using District services.

- Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2
- Social Worker Level 3
- Occupational Therapist Level 3
- Senior Psychologist
- Welfare Officer Level 3
- Counsellor Level 3
