We are an independent, non-government, community-managed agency offering a range of quality services that are responsive to the varying needs of communities extending from the cities of Albury/Wodonga, Wangaratta and Benalla to townships throughout the Towong, Mansfield, Alpine and Indigo shires. 

We now have a rewarding opportunity for a Child & Family Counsellor to join our Wodonga or Wangaratta team on a full-time basis and make a real difference in the lives of local families!

About the Opportunity

In this role, you will provide counselling services to individuals and families, from infants to children, adolescents, and adults. You will be familiar and comfortable working with children and families from diverse backgrounds, particularly Aboriginal and CALD communities, LGBTQIA+ communities, and those with diverse abilities. While our team works in some complex situations, we always bring our sense of fun wherever possible, and hope you can too!

You’ll also bring

Years of experience in child and family counselling, backed up by your tertiary qualifications. Experience in mental health and family therapy would be an advantage.

You will have high emotional intelligence, and work well as part of a team, supporting and communicating with your team, the broader organisation, and community organisations.

An unrestricted Australian Driver’s License is required for this position.
