JOB DESCRIPTION

Type: Permanent Full Time role (some work from home possibilities!)
Location: Blacktown Area
Salary:  $102 – 115K + Super + Salary Packaging + vehicle

 

Do you have experience in child protection and want to use a more therapeutic framework to support children and families? Welfare Recruitment Solutions have been approached by a leading not for profit organisation that support children and families across NSW, to assist in the recruitment of a Family Therapist in their program working with families who have children at imminent risk of being placed into care. This role is immediately available so don’t hesitate to get in touch today!

Role

As the successful candidate, your role will be to work with families, providing therapeutic interventions consistent with the therapeutic model. You will help families overcome their barriers to engagement with services and motivate families to create a context for change, addressing risk factors and strengthen protective factors for families.

Candidate

  • Minimum degree level qualification – ideally in Psychology, Counselling, or Masters of Social Work.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children and families at risk of entering the child protection system.
  • An understanding of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy.
  • Experience providing therapeutic interventions to vulnerable young people and families.

 

Further Info

In return you will be offered a base salary in the region of $102-115K + super + full use vehicle + the benefits of salary packaging associated for working with a NFP organisation.
