JOB DESCRIPTION

Marninwarntikura Women’s Resource Centre (MWRC) is seeking a Centre Coordinator for Baya Gawiy Child & Parent Centre – Fitzroy Crossing. 

The Child and Parent Centre (CPC) offers a variety of programs and services for families and children in the community.

The centre supports families with young children by providing access to early learning and other support programs.

The coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Centre.

Suitable applicants for the coordinator role will have:

  • a tertiary qualification relevant to the coordination of child, family and community services including education, health, social science, community development, management or related fields.
  • experience working in the early childhood sector and strong foundations in early childhood development is essential.

 

MWRC is a not-for-profit, Aboriginal controlled community organisation (ACCO) that is a centre of inspiration that provides women and their families a place for positive change and leadership.  We promote the healthy development of children, women, young people and families. We do this by working in partnership with community service organisations, business, government and the wider community.
