POSITIONS AVAILABLE
We have 2 positions available for Child and Adolescent Psychologists due to an ever-expanding referral base and some of our child psychs going on maternity leave. As a practice we value having a lovely, stress free, conflict-free environment, along with providing a supportive and professional environment. Our team members have a huge say in how they practice, including days/ hours and clients they wish to see. You have the choice to run groups, do individual therapy, do assessments, or expand to do supervision. Work life balance is STRONGLY encouraged, with a typical full-time week just 4 days!!
If you have never worked in private practice, or previously felt unsupported in private practice, we are a refreshing change as support is our key focus. This is why we have such small staff turnover, with maternity leave or moving away the main reasons we have had to recruit.
WHO ARE WE?
Redlands Psychologists is one of the largest child, family and adult referral practices in the Redlands, with a team of over 20 psychologists and 8 administration staff. We are well respected, thereby receive a variety of referrals for children, adolescents and adults with a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting, grief, behavioural issues, neurodiversity, assessments, self-esteem and other general counselling issues. We pride ourselves on creating a professional, warm, welcoming and supportive environment in which our practitioners and staff enjoy coming to work. We stand out as a place to work as we offer free in-house clinical supervision (for endorsement), and regular peer supervision with both internal and external presenters. Additionally, very attractive salary or subcontractor rates are available. We are big enough that you choose what presentations you would like to see, rather than watering down your expertise across all presentations.

We are not like other places, and we offer a lot that other places simply don’t, or can’t, provide. So, I asked my team what they would say in an ad, and I have listed some of the staff’s comments below:
- “Supportive and friendly practice promoting independence and flexibility as a psychologist whilst also providing a collaborative and caring workspace with a team of hand-picked professionals” – Tatum
- “It’s actually pretty tricky to work out what it is we have that is so great and in only 1-2 lines.…all the support and resources of a large established practice but with the feeling of a small/close family – no other place I’ve worked at has been able to offer the support, flexibility and opportunities that Redlands Psychology does! – Natalie
- Here is a few of my ideas – Working at Redlands Psychologists provides a very supportive environment within a large private practice setting. Being part of a large team of varying expertise allows for great support and enhanced knowledge as a practitioner. The practice supports individualised approaches to therapy and the setting provides fantastic indoor and outdoor spaces to do so. The practice is well supported with great supervision, learning opportunities, as well as a fantastic director and administration team. – Rach
- Redlands Psychologists offers a flexible working environment that encourages both personal and professional growth. We value close and communicative practice between practitioners and believe that our supportive team dynamic acts as the foundation for effective and empathic clinical practice. – Bec
There is no shortage of jobs advertised in this field, but there is a shortage of employers who truly walk the talk and value their staff. We have had staff move from interstate and overseas just to be part of something special whilst having the opportunity to live in the best place in the world (not biased). Join us and find out why! Please look on our website to learn more about us and if you think you may be a great fit for our team, please email [email protected]. Don’t forget to send me your resume and a letter outlining your goals and why you really want to join us.
Cheers
Debbie
