JOB DESCRIPTION

ChatAbout is a family centred Allied Health Practice that has 6 well established clinics across Sydney. We have been providing services since 2005 and built a strong reputation for clinical care within the communities we serve. 

Our team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Allied Health Assistants provide high-quality services to children of all ages to support their daily living skills and ability to participate in community activities.  

We are looking for a fully registered Psychologist to join our team either part time or full time to support our families by

  • Delivering high quality, person-centred behaviour support/therapy services to people with an intellectual and/or psychosocial disability
  • Engaging and communicating with families, staff and other support networks
  • Conducting and writing functional behaviour assessments
  • Developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating positive behaviour support plans, including strategies and interventions
  • Deliver training, provide clinical advice, and coaching to staff using evidence-based approaches to support people to achieve their personal goals and positive outcomes

Essential criteria:

  • Full Australian work rights
  • Registration as a psychologist with AHPRA 
  • Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number
  • Have demonstrated relevant clinical experience working with children, adolescents and families
  • Hold a current Working With Children Check Clearance
