JOB DESCRIPTION

The Woodside Centre is a busy and growing private practice operating in the heart of Toowong. We have a client focused approach and implement evidence-based strategies to meet the needs and goals of clients. Our team works collaboratively with GPs and other health professionals to provide a holistic approach to care for our clients. We operate within a supportive culture that values flexibility, autonomy, self-care and balance.

The Woodside Centre works hard to maintain positive relationships with locals GPs and we have a good variety in our referral base from Medicare, EAP, Workcover and Private Health.

Our team is looking for someone warm, engaging, professional, hard-working and diligent. We want someone to uphold our Centre’s values and professional reputation in the local community. We are seeking someone to join our team and work with young children, children who are neurodiverse and with children who are twice-exceptional. 

Experience is favourable, however if you are looking for a foot into private practice, we would encourage you to apply. As long as you are eligible for a Medicare Provider Number and hold AHPRA registration, we are happy to receive your application. Clinical support and supervision will be negotiated around your needs.

You Must Have/Be Willing to Obtain

  • AHPRA Registration
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • ABN
  • Medicare Provider Number
  • Willing to work with children and teens 
  • Strong interpersonal and counselling skills
  • Good time management
  • Proficiency in the use of a range of evidenced-based interventions

  • We have a lovely small team of cooperative and supportive psychologists and speech pathologist, and a wonderful reception team that run the clinic smoothly, efficiently and with the utmost respect for our clients.
