Centacare Family Services are currently seeking expressions of interest from a suitably qualified and experienced Client Liaison Officer to join our Geraldton based team.
A remuneration package based on the SCHCADS Award 2010 will be offered based on skills and experience; level 3.1 of $36.00/ hour, superannuation and salary sacrifice option.
This is a full-time position.
Key Functions
- Management of client appointments and bookings including triaging and liaising with clients regarding appointments.
- Maintain and update records, data collection and other documentation as required.
- Facilitate and deliver FRC information sessions to clients.
- Provide a range of services in relation to the preparation for mediation, community education and support services for the Family Relationships Centre (FRC), in a professional and ethical manner that reflects the Ethos and practice of Centacare and FRC programme requirements.
Selection Criteria: Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification and/or experience in the community services sector. This is preferred but not essential.

- Demonstrated experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders people.
- A commitment to professional learning and development.
- Demonstrated high level of experience and competence in MS Office programs – Word, Outlook and Excel. To be competent or willing to learn Zoom/Teams.
- Initiative and self-management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to the provision of a quality service.
- Ability to work within the philosophy and ethos of Centacare.
Successful applicants will hold, or be able to obtain, a WA Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance no older than 12 months, and a current WA Driver’s License.
