This role entails providing clinical supervision and leadership to a diverse and multi-disciplinary team, to help deliver mental health intake, assessment, and triage services to individuals with mental health concerns.
This role will support a team of approximately 6 employees, including clinicians and Lived experience workers. The Clinical Lead will also assist with establishing the service in the area through engagement and promotion with local stakeholders. This role will also hold their own caseload.
The hours for this role are 11am-7.30pm, Monday to Saturday (working 5 days per week).
The role:
- Provide guidance, service coordination and clinical supervision to the team
- Provide mentorship and leadership to the lived experience team and the team of Clinicians
- Support the induction and orientation of new staff members
- Assess and screen referrals
- Triage and assessment of mental health referrals
- Work with clients and their families to identify their mental health
- Develop and maintain strong working partnerships with local community services

About you:
- Proven track record operating at a clinical level within mental health service delivery
- Experience leading and coordinating a team of staff
- Knowledge of local services
- Qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing or Occupational Therapy
- Relevant registration with a governing body – AHPRA, AASW, ACA.
- NSW drivers licence
