About the Role

  • Part-Time Permanent Position Available (0.8 FTE)
  • Classification: Nurses Award 2020 Level 3 with a salary range between $116,880 – $123,243 pro rata per annum or Health Professional & Support Services Award 2020 Level 3 with a salary range between $106,427 – $121,030 pro rata per annum + Superannuation

About your new role

Wellness Connect- Commonwealth Psychosocial Support Program provides short term, flexible and recovery orientated psychosocial support focused on capacity building and connection. The program is delivered by a consortium of multiple NGO agencies across Adelaide with Neami National as the lead agency.

As the Clinical Lead, you will lead a team of Intake and Assessment Officers and be responsible for providing clinical oversight and leadership to the intake and assessment of referrals to Wellness Connect. You will lead the implementation of the Intake Assessment and Referral- Decision Support Tool (IAR-DST) in a psychosocial context. You will also oversee demand management, waitlist support and allocation of consumers within the Wellness Connect Consortium. You will work closely with all consortium partners and support education and practice development to the consortium. You will work with the Service Manager, Peer Practice Lead and the Intake Team to ensure that program operations and practices are delivered in a way that is consistent with the over-arching service model principles of Wellness Connect and Collaborative Relational Practice.

What you will bring to the role?

  • Formal tertiary qualification in either psychology, social work, nursing, occupational therapy
  • Substantial work experience delivering clinical interventions with consumers experiencing mental health challenges and accredited registration with a professional governing body such as AHPRA, AASW

What the role requires:

  • National Criminal History Check (police check) – disclosable outcomes considered
  • Current Working with Children Check – required before commencement of work
  • Current AHPRA or AASW registration
  • Current drivers licence
  • Australian working rights
