About the facility 

Belmont Community Rehabilitation Centre provides interdisciplinary, time limited, goal directed outpatient rehabilitation for people who have had a recent change in their health status for example following a stroke or hospital stay.  These services are delivered according to a rehabilitation plan that is based on goals negotiated with the client and their carers. Our state of the art facilities are located on site with Belmont Primary Care, Community Nursing, Dental, Mental Health and Immunisation services.

About the role 

The Clinical Neuropsychologist is responsible for neuropsychological assessment and consumer-centred intervention within the community rehabilitation centres. This role is responsible for ensuring contemporary evidence-based psychology services for rehabilitation clients within the clinical setting. The Clinical Neuropsychologist is also required to provide secondary consultation to the rehabilitation team with the aim of maximizing the efficacy of the full range of rehabilitation interventions delivered. The Clinical Neuropsychologist will assist in the supervision of Masters and Doctoral Students as required. This position is primarily based at Belmont Community Rehabilitation Centre although movement across sites may be required.
