Clinical Psychologist (or clinical registrar) Q Psychology

JOB DESCRIPTION

Q Psychology are leaders in LGBTQIAP+ mental health. We have clinics in St Kilda, Carlton, and Geelong (Belmont). We’re seeking a clinical psychologist (or clinical registrar) to join our team 2-3 days per week at any location. The role will involve delivery of evidence-based psychological assessments and therapy to adolescents and adults. The role can also involve clinical supervision of team members if you hold board approved supervisor status.

The team at Q Psychology is passionate about delivering the highest quality, best-practice mental health support to our clients. As part of our service, we have developed Victoria’s first private Gender Service that provides gender-affirming assessment, treatment, and support to trans, gender diverse, and non-binary (TGDNB) children, adolescents, adults, and their families. We also have a research program as part of our service.

About you

You’re a clinical psychologist (or clinical registrar) who is ready to join an inclusive workplace and team. You are someone with a strong interest in working with LGBTQIAP+ clients and in an LGBTQIAP+ affirmative approach. 

  • Masters / Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA and eligibility for Medicare rebates
  • A desire to work with adolescents and adult clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This is planned to be an employment position, however subcontracting will be considered for the right candidate.
