We would like to invite you to be a part of a workplace that not only helps you grow in your career but also encourages you to be the best version of yourself. Whether you have previously worked in private practice or are just starting your journey, you will be supported to identify and pursue areas of personal and professional growth in an environment that fosters connection and support.
Benefits that come with the position:
- The practice is closed for appointments between 12-1 pm every day to enable the team to connect and debrief over lunch
- We treat a wide variety of clinical presentations, which are allocated by the therapist’s particular areas of interest, strength and therapeutic approach.
- Some of the support we provide: a full-time Practice Manager and reception staff for administrative support, in-house professional development sessions, regular peer and EMDR consultations and case reviews, and Board-approved supervision if required.
- We believe our excellent salaried remuneration package reflects the importance of your role in our practice.
- We value growth and are always working on ways to expand our services beyond one-on-one treatment. We welcome input from our team to pursue particular areas that are of interest to them.
- We are a paperless practice so will supply the hardware (iPads etc), so you can do your best work!
What our team says about ANIMA:
- Selena Ong – Clinical Psychologist: “At my previous workplace, I felt burnt out and isolated, and I really craved a safe space to debrief with like-minded colleagues. After joining Anima, I was introduced to more complex presentations, but I also learned ways to care for myself while grounding my patients. This has been an extremely satisfying period of personal and career growth.”
- Sarah Lucivero – Medical Receptionist: “Regardless of your position at Anima you are part of the family, and there is genuine care for your personal and professional development. From the moment I walked into the practice, it was obvious to me that family and connection are important values. It is a great team that provides a high standard of care for their patients, as well as the very interesting conversations at lunchtime when we all congregated around a large dining table – just like a family dinner.”
- Roanne Young – Clinical Psychologist: “After running my solo practice, it’s been a very happy new life knowing that admin is taking care of my patients and that I can knock on anyone’s door for a debrief, supervision or just a chat”.
