JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re inviting Clinical and Registered Psychologists to join a highly reputable private practice nestled in the heart of Springfield Lakes, QLD. With a strong reputation for delivering outstanding care, the practice has become a cornerstone of the community, trusted by hundreds of GPs and psychologists.

The practice is consistently booked out six months in advance, a testament to its popularity and the high demand for its services. The clinic itself is a bustling hub, with seven fully equipped rooms that are always at maximum capacity, ensuring a steady flow of clients!

As a Clinical or Registered Psychologist here, you’ll handle a diverse caseload and enjoy a balanced work-life dynamic. The practice welcomes specialisations and offers flexibility in client selection, work methods, and hours, including the option to work from home. You’ll join a team of 12-14 psychologists, with regular peer supervision sessions and get-togethers fostering professional growth.

Your duties will include:

  • Managing a diverse caseload, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns (early presentations in anxiety, depression, workplace stress and trauma)
  • Participating in regular peer supervision sessions to share insights and learn from colleagues.
  • Tailoring your workload to maintain a balanced work-life dynamic.
  • Building meaningful relationships with clients, choosing your own work methods and hours.

Requirements/Skills

  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology
  • AHPRA registration
  • Full/Associate member of the APS
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
  • WorkCover approved (or willing to become WorkCover approved)
  • Eligible to obtain Medicare provider numbers
