Acacia Connection is an Employee Assistance Provider that is making a difference to the lives of thousands of employees and their immediate families in the area of mental health.  We provide high quality, exceptional counselling services and assistance to individuals who have personal and/or work-related issues that may impact their wellbeing, work performance, safety, individual and workplace morale and psychological health. 

We are an established provider continually growing, providing nationwide mental health support in person and via telephone delivered by qualified mental health professionals.

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Services Manager to join our senior leadership team. This is a full time, permanent position based in our Head Office in the Brisbane CBD.

As a member of the Senior Team, this role is pivotal in building and maintaining clinical excellence. The role focusses on quality service delivery, clinical governance, product design & development, customer relationship management, senior leadership and development of a growing national clinical department.

What You Need to Know
To be successful in this role, you will require a high level of leadership experience, strong clinical skills and a drive for success in a growing business.

  • You will be working within a continually growing organisation that at its core focuses on maintaining the quality and integrity of its support services, improving the mental health and wellbeing of those who engage
  • Lead a clinical team based across the country, including a team of after hours / oncall clinicians (role will require interstate travel at times)
  • Ensure all internal and affiliate clinicians are aligned to Acacia’s values and quality standards
  • Oversee all complex clinical cases
  • Participate in new business presentations as the clinical subject matter expert
  • Consult with customers and provide clinical recommendations based on reporting and data analysis
  • Project manage the design and development of new products and services
  • Provide the business with monthly performance reports and participate actively in the businesss’ strategic growth program

What We Are Looking For

  • AHPRA registered Psychologist with a minimum of 10 years experience in the industry
  • Previous experience in the EAP industry is desirable, but not essential
  • Proven experience as a clinical leader
  • Previous senior leadership / executive level experience is desirable
  • Ability to view issues and problems from the perspectives of the business and the customer
  • Proven experience working with data to provide intel and recommendations, as well as manage internal productivity and performance
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills e.g. reports, presentations, proposals
  • A proven work style that displays agility, maturity, flexibility and strong resilience
  • Exceptional planning and organisational ability coupled with the ability to self-manage and work autonomously
  • Confidence using technology and an IT case management system
