Position Summary
The Clinical Services Manager is responsible for all clinical and operational activities at the headspace Gladstone Centre.
The focus of this role is the scoping, development and delivery of excellence in quality care provision, ensuring all clinical governance and compliance targets are implemented and met. This role with drive proactive and positive change within Gladstone headspace Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Support strategic clinical development of the headspace Centre by:
- Scope, plan and implement proactive clinical quality improvements
- Coordinate knowledge transfer of youth mental health best practice and research into practice
- Creating linkages to university partners and coordinate research opportunities
- Manage clinical supervision and professional development of clinicians and care coordinators.
- Managing headspace Centre clinical requirements under:
- the headspace Model Integrity Framework (hMIF),
- Roseberry Qld’s Clinical Governance Framework and Practice
- Lead quality improvements and best practice across headspace Centres.
Selection Criteria
Essential
- Experience managing a multidisciplinary team environment
- Experience in the youth and/or mental health sector
- Knowledge and understanding of mental health, including related evidence-based interventions and clinical practice.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills,
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a productive team member.
Desirable
- Previous experience working in a headspace Centre setting
- STAP Accredited Supervisor
- Registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Nurse, Accredited Mental Health Occupational Therapist or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
