About the Role

Berry Street’s Wattle Project (Take Two) offers therapeutic and case management support to young people (age 12-17 years old and their families) who use family violence in the home. The program utilises an ecological model to understand young people’s behaviours and recognises that a young person’s use of violence is situated within several complex and interrelated systems.

Key Responsibilities

With additional funding in the program we are searching for a Clinician who will provide therapeutic assessment and intervention service to address the factors contributing to the use of violence by clients referred to the program. The role will provide therapeutic services in the form of individual, group and dyadic therapy for adolescents and their families. Importantly the role will work cooperatively with both internal and external stakeholders concerning the child development, mental health and well-being needs of young people and children affected by violence.
