JOB DESCRIPTION

Working with Bravehearts means working with a dedicated team that is on a mission to protect kids.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Clinician to provide counselling to children, young people, adults and their families who have experienced, or may be at risk of, child sexual assault. You will deliver a consistently high level of counselling, maintain your case notes, deliver training and undergo regular supervision.

This is an ongoing part time role (9 day fortnight, 68.4 hours) based in Loganholme with occasional travel required to our corporate office in Arundel.

What you will bring to Bravehearts:

  • A tertiary qualification in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or a related field is essential.
  • Registration and/or membership with governing body of profession (Psychologists Registration Board of Queensland, Australian Counselling Association, the Australian Association of Social Work, or Queensland Counselling Association) is essential.
  • Experience in providing trauma counselling is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in counselling
