About the opportunity
We have a rewarding opportunity for a Clinician to join our Clinical Care and Support Program, providing specialist interventions and consultancy to vulnerable children, carers, families and the professionals supporting them in the out of home care sector.
As a Clinician, you will provide secondary consultancy and interventions for children, young people, their carers and families who have children in out of home care. Consultation Services will also be provided to professionals and other stakeholders working with them. The Clinician will also play a key role in delivering tailored training regarding a range of clinical issues for carers and professionals supporting children who have experienced trauma.

About you
To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a relevant degree qualification in psychology, social work or a related discipline. Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA or a Social Worker eligible for AASW membership would be highly regarded.
You will also have:
- A driver’s licence valid in Victoria, and a willingness to drive agency vehicles for work purposes
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of high quality assessment and therapy services to families, children and young people with complex needs
- Previous experience in the provision of secondary consultation to clients and professionals
- Sound understanding of theoretical approaches and frameworks relevant to working with children, young people and families
- Well-developed report writing and communication skills
