Infinity Community Solutions Ltd (ICS) is an expanding boutique secular social purpose organisation, motivated to make a difference in the lives of individuals. ICS Child Protection Residential Intervention Services apply needs-based thinking to attachment-focused care within a trauma-informed therapeutic milieu. ICS services work with children, young people and their families (where appropriate) to identify and address therapeutic needs, as well as to support a transition to family-based care settings. The multi-disciplinary team includes Care Practitioners, Residential Coordinators, Program Managers and the General Manager.
About the role
The Clinician is responsible for providing clinical and case work support intervention for children accessing residential and outreach services in a statutory out of home care context. This includes the development and review of clinical plans (therapeutic support plans, positive behaviour support plans, individual crisis management plans, therapeutic daily programs), clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions, case work tasks, critical incident management, stakeholder engagement, after-hours on-call support, mentoring and training for Care Practitioners (front line direct care workers) on child-specific needs, and facilitating in individual and group/family work. The position is required to work directly with children and young people with complex behavioural issues in residential and community care settings.
Remuneration – $77,584 per annum with the option of increasing take home pay with the benefits of salary packaging.

Skills and experience
• Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Human Services or appropriate qualification.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in working with children and families, particularly in assisting with the assessment, planning processes and support around the management of children with difficult behaviours.
• Demonstrated intermediate ability to use computer IT systems including MS Word and Excel.
• South Australian P2 or above Driver License.
• Possess / obtain a current Working with Children Check (SA & Qld)
• Possess / obtain a ‘suitable’ Statement of Psychological Suitability
• Must be fully vaccinated in line with the ATGA guidelines for COVID-19
