JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Carmichael College is a dynamic, developing College, committed to educational excellence in an overt and distinctly Christian environment. We are a non-denominational, independent Christian school located in Morayfield, Queensland. Currently the College offers a Prep to Year 10 program, extending each year to Year 12 in 2025. With a current student population of 700, projections indicate that student numbers will peak at around 1400.

The College is seeking applications from qualified, experienced, Christian chaplains to commence in 2024 within our Wellbeing team. 

Full-Time or Part-Time [depending on applicant]

Applications are invited from chaplains who:

  • Have a strong passion for ministry among young people and a commitment to see them reach their full potential
  • Have a demonstrated ability to relate to students and understand their needs
  • Have an ability to provide pastoral care, support and guidance to students
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a mental health first aid certificate
  • Ability to lead and facilitate small group programs for students

The Chaplain will report to the Wellbeing Coordinator.
