JOB DESCRIPTION

St George College is a co-educational, multi-cultural school on the western fringe of Adelaide’s CBD.  Student learning is at the centre of our school culture and we are committed to ensuring our students become “World Ready” as we develop their academic and personal skills.

St George College are seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Counsellor to join their dynamic team. 

The College Counsellor will be a critical member of the Wellbeing team and will assist the college to meet the educational, socio-emotional, and overall wellbeing needs of students and staff.

Applicants must demonstrate;

  • Experience as a skilled counsellor/psychologist in a school setting (or similar)
  • Hold appropriate qualifications in psychology, counselling or social work
  • Knowledge of relevant inclusive education, compliance and legislation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Well-developed interpersonal, oral and written skills

This a full time position commencing Term 1 2023. Six months probation period applies.
