We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our Psychology team. This full-time position will involve the provision of psychological services including the delivery of counselling, therapy and programs for individuals and groups across a range of social, emotional and family issues.
A strong knowledge and understanding of mental health disorders and their relationship to child and adolescent development is essential. Familiarity and experience working with learning issues and psycho-educational reports in maximising educational opportunities forms a key aspect of the role.
The delivery of professional learning to teaching staff is expected, as is liaison with external professionals and community agencies. Prior experience working with those from diverse cultural backgrounds, including Indigenous young people within boarding /residential contexts with a systems approach to mental health prevention and intervention will be viewed favourably.
